1. SERVICE-BASED REFUND PHILOSOPHY
HumanAICoOp.com (the “Co-Op”) provides high-level professional services including The Code Forge (API and code repair), Technical Documentation (SOPs, SDLC), and Regulatory Compliance (HIPAA, EHR updates, and legal email threads). Due to the intensive expert labor, specialized human-in-the-loop verification, and dedicated resource allocation required for these sectors, we do not offer standard “returns” on digital labor or completed technical assets.
All financial engagements are governed by the specific contract-level confirmation established at the time of project implementation.
2. PREPAID STANDARD SECURITY FEE (RETAINER)
To initiate high-stakes workflows (e.g., EHR repair, API auditing, or legal thread analysis), the Client must submit a Prepaid Standard Security Fee.
- Valuation: This fee is equivalent to 100 hours of professional service.
- Billing Rate: The rate is determined by project complexity, ranging from $120.00 to $300.00 per hour, as specified in the signed Statement of Work (SOW).
- Purpose: This fee secures the availability of human experts and the deployment of secure AaaS (Accuracy as a Service) technical infrastructure.
3. PROJECT “HALT” AND CANCELLATION PROTOCOLS
A Client may elect to terminate or pause a project at any time. However, due to the opportunity costs and technical setup involved, the following terms apply:
- Written Request: All requests to halt a project must be submitted in writing to stephen.vicinanza@shlae.com.
- Retention of Security Fee: In the event of a project halt or cancellation during an active workflow, the Prepaid Standard Security Fee is non-refundable and will be retained in full by Stonehill Learning and Energy Systems LLC.
- Accrued Labor Above Retainer: If the project has progressed beyond the initial 100-hour window at the time the “Halt” request is processed, the Client will be invoiced for all additional hours worked at the contracted rate. These fees are non-refundable.
4. ACCURACY GUARANTEE AND THE 5-DAY REVIEW WINDOW
While we do not offer refunds for “change of mind,” we provide a strict Accuracy Guarantee tied to our five (5) business day review window:
- Correction Period: If the Client identifies a technical error, compliance gap, or omission in a deliverable (e.g., a non-functional API repair or an SOP that fails to meet the agreed-upon regulatory standard) within five business days of delivery, the Co-Op will perform all necessary repairs at no additional cost.
- Exclusion of Refunds: Failure to flag an error within the five-day window constitutes final acceptance. No refunds will be issued for work that was deemed accepted through the expiration of the review window.
- Unresolvable Technical Gaps: In the rare event that the Co-Op cannot meet a specific technical requirement defined in the original SOW after three (3) correction attempts, a partial refund of fees beyond the 100-hour security deposit may be negotiated at the sole discretion of management.
5. MARKET PULSE & MARKET PULSE PREMIUM SUBSCRIPTIONS
For our economic reporting services focusing on foundational indicators (housing, food, clothing, supply chain), the following refund policy applies:
- Annual Subscriptions: Annual subscribers are eligible for a prorated refund if they cancel before the end of their term.
- Prorated Calculation: The refund is calculated using the formula:
- Monthly Accrual: Any month in which the subscriber received a Market Pulse report is considered a “month accrued.” Partial months are rounded up to the full month.
- Monthly or yearly payment refund calculation
12{ months} – {months accrued} = {total refund amount}
6. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Any financial disputes regarding the retention of security fees or prorated calculations shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If an agreement cannot be reached, the matter shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York and adjudicated in Richmond County.
